In fact, I found some of the advs on the paid post quite good. I was impressed with some of the advs that were in the paid posts I wrote. There’s this one about Sydney hotel that I wrote a few months back. It was very good cos I lived in Sydney for 15years , what they offered was in fact very good.
And the San Francisco one also very good.
2 of hubby cousins live in SF, so he knows SF pretty well, he looks at the post, he thought that was a good deal. We might even use the site offer the next time we goes to SF.
That is why lah, I think it is more suitable for American bloggers to write American products, more relevant.
In fact, quite a number of times I read paid post by Malaysians, I wanted to laugh cos it was really…, I don’t know what to say lah, especially when they write about vacation in Florida, I want to shake my head. I also wonder why PPP let foreigners write about something they don’t really know. I am not being discriminate here but it is just a hard fact. [ better run, might get lots of rotten eggs flied over my face].
I was very honest when I said why buy bottle water (here no one drink tap water, it is a trend lah, before everyone drink tap water, but really if you can find a filter that is good, why buy bottle water ?
I know you are kidding when you said that, but because a lot of products are familiar to me so I don’t look at it as cheat. There might be other brands out there that are better, that I cannot say lah.
PPP is only one of the paid comp that offer me to write. There are a few local ones that need a lot of research before you can even published. Eg you heard of associate content. They have tons of offers but that one you really need to know about it to write. For eg write your experience about the health insurance. If you have not experience about the health insurance here, how to write lah :).
I once read a post about some lady write about VA loan , aiyo, I also don’t know how she can get the post to write. Aiya, VA is only for military people lah, not civilian lah. Might be discharge military but never me or my husband who has never served in military.
So, I don’t simply write what I don’t know one lah :):). Choose content lah.

That’s why, not to mention if you don’t cheat lah, but i see a lot bloggers especially malaysian bloggers (including me) write reviews on something we really have no idea what we’re writing. That’s why i seldom take offer from PPP or SponsoredReviews although they offer cheap cheap, because I feel like, I’m cheating to myself and my visitors sometimes geh… But then, most of the time, we write for the sake of the extra $$$

In fact I asked a few of the tech guys, they said they don’t want to write ppp but they want to get the site better so their alexa’s rank better cos their aim though is making $ but they want to sell advs on the site.
Like that site I can have cheezeburger. To put an adv on the site is US$5-7k. I think for most guys who are good in SEO, that is what they are aiming for.
But for people like me who is not so good in SEO, I write ppp here and there. PPP is not really what I want to focus on. I want to focus on network You see the coffee lady logo I have on my blog. That is what I want to focus cos in my community , there are a lot of retire people. See people from the North (cold) love hot weather, they have 1 home in the North and spend winter in FL, there are lots of classes for them here. They rich mah, courses include plant “Bonsai” lah, “Tai Chi” lah,etc. So that is what I am more interested on. That is a very big market. We called it the boomers (people who were born after WWWII and before 1959, walau, I am not that old, not in the group lah, ha ha ha ha).
